Before founding Outlet Shoppe, Mitchell Stansbury spent years as an operations supervisor for a large company in Upstate South Carolina. In that role, he learned what it takes to lead teams, manage complex day-to-day operations, solve problems under pressure, and keep an organization moving forward. That experience became the foundation for his hands-on, results-driven approach to leadership.

Mitchell later transitioned into law enforcement, where he had the honor of serving others through a career with a prestigious law enforcement agency. That chapter demanded discipline, courage, accountability, and a deep commitment to earning the trust of the people he served. Those values continue to define the way he leads Outlet Shoppe and the way he approaches every challenge.

Family & Values

As a father, Mitchell is equally committed to leading by example at home. He works to instill in his children the same high standards that guide his own life and leadership: discipline, integrity, accountability, perseverance, respect, and a commitment to doing things the right way. He believes excellence is not simply a goal in business—it is a standard to practice every day and a value to pass on to the next generation.

Building Outlet Shoppe

Opening Outlet Shoppe brought Mitchell’s background in operations and public service together with his entrepreneurial vision. Building the company has required long hours, personal sacrifice, resilience, and an unwavering work ethic. From the beginning, Mitchell has been willing to do whatever the business requires to move forward and serve customers at a high level.

He remains deeply involved in every part of the operation—from sourcing merchandise and coordinating warehouse operations to supporting his team, serving customers, strengthening the brand, and expanding online sales. His title is Founder & President, but his leadership is demonstrated through action. Mitchell works alongside his team, understands the demands of the business firsthand, and takes personal responsibility for the company’s direction, performance, and future.
